Part one) In this news story a 9th grader by the name of Ahmed brought a clock to school to show his teachers. He showed one teacher the clock and the teacher said its nice but you shouldn’t show any other teachers. when he got to 6th period it beeped in his bag and he took it out. The teacher then promptly called the police and Ahmed got arrested for a “bomb hoax”. The social media was in an outrage for this having people like Obama even posting support saying “Cool clock, Ahmed. Want to bring it to the White House? We should inspire more kids like you to like science. It’s what makes America great.” the town police and school are still taking beatings from the media and all charges towards the kid were dropped.
Part 2) In my opinion this goes to show you how much someone uneducated in something can cause such a uproar. I hope that more people start making inventions and i also hope they are not persecuted for it.
Part 3) I hope that Ahmed gets all the support he needs and that this inspires more people.
