Part 1)

In this article researches  from UC San Diego have announced that they have found a way to 3D print tiny micro robots in the shape of fish. The fish are just 120 microns (one micron is a one millionth of a meter) long and 30 microns thick. The fish are printed with tiny particles of platinum in their tail that make the fish swim in peroxide. Scientists can also add other particles to make them be able to absorb certain chemicals and venom’s, including bee venom. The fish have already been shown to detoxify contaminated liquids.  These fish are even easy to print as researchers can print hundreds of them in seconds. They also come in manta ray and shark variations.

Part 2)

In my opinion this is a large step forward in medicine and will hopefully be used in everyday life soon. They can hopefully in the future be used to minister drugs and be able to clean up and poison/venom in someones body. Another big advantage to this technology is it cant be hacked since it sends no signal. Considering that’s the biggest problem with technology in your body.

part 3)

I believe this is a big step forward as we become ever more closer to perfecting the medical arts and will hopefully lead to automatic curing of poisons/venom’s.
